Classroom Organization with A to B Podcast Hosts!
I am SO excited to share this episode with you. I just finished listening to it while editing and I felt like I was sitting in on a conversation with girlfriends. Autumn and Bethany are the hosts of the A to B Podcast and they are so incredibly sweet! I wanted them on the show today because Autumn is a former teacher now professional organizer and Bethany is a current kinder teacher.
On their podcast, A to B Podcast, they talk about organization strategies. But the great thing about these ladies is they are REAL! And you will hear that all throughout our conversation. We talk about five ways you can implement classroom organization in your classroom. You’ll want to listen to the show to hear all of the details we talk about, but the five tips they share are:
1. Use shortcuts to make things quicker and create routines (like filing papers by season, thinking about how you can help yourself out for next year, and using numbers instead of names.)
2. Look for ways for students to take ownership over the things you do in your classroom
3. Make your classroom be student accessible
4. Teach students organization skills and how to organize their classroom
5. It doesn’t have to be cute, it just needs to be practical!
We wrap up the show by talking about how a teacher listening can start organizing their classroom right now. And I promise, the tips are helpful and practical.
I’d love for you to listen HERE!! I would also love it if you shared it with a teacher friend by sending it to them, positing it on your social media accounts, or saving it to Pinterest!
