Julie and I are real life friends which is why this week’s podcast seems to go on forever! We just started talking and didn’t stop. Plus, Julie is incredibly passionate about writing and she takes a lot of time to walk us through her experience writing and how she teaches her students to write.
Writing in the Elementary Classroom
I don’t know if you are like me, but writing has always been a struggle for me! I wish I would have talked to Julie about this years ago, because she has so many brilliant ideas and you are going to find lots of helpful tips. Julie walks us through the writing workshop framework and also gives us some recommendations on books for more information.
Make sure to go follow Julie on all the social medias and her blog- you will find even more encouragement and motivation there!
I’d love for you to listen HERE!! I would also love it if you shared it with a teacher friend by sending it to them, positing it on your social media accounts, or saving it to Pinterest!
