With summer upon us I am excited to share some fun, engaging, and VIRTUAL professional development options for teachers.
Summer Professional Development for Teachers
Today I am sharing five online courses teachers can take this summer to improve their teaching. We know as teachers it is important to grow and challenge ourselves. I love that now-a-days we can do it from the comfort of our very own homes!

Virtual Summer Teacher Conference
This conference, happening July 14th and 15th, is a virtual summit with teachers from all over the U.S. (and maybe even world!) sharing about things that are working well in their classrooms.
What I love about this is it is REAL teachers sharing their REAL experiences!
I’ll also be presenting on 6 Ways to Set Up an Organized Classroom. Get more info here!
Teach 4 the Heart Resources
Linda Kardamis, from Teach 4 the Heart, has a ton of free and paid courses. A couple I recommend:

Kickstart Your School Year
This course is launching this July here on The Simply Organized Teacher! All the info you could want will be over here on this page right here!
I designed this course for the teacher who is struggling to no where to start at the beginning of a new school year. We will walk through the steps to set up your classroom in an organized way and create plans to help your first day and week start off on the right foot!
The Simply Organized Classroom Ebook
This ebook sells for $12.00 and contains all the info I would tell you if we could sit down over coffee together and talk about teaching, organizing, and classroom management.
In Person Conferences
A few in person conferences I recommend:
Get Your Teach On (I’ve been to this and can recommend!!!!)
Teach Your Heart Out (I have not personally been to this one but have heard great things!)
We Teach Joy (learn more by listening to my interview with Ashley– the creator of the conference)
I’d love for you to listen HERE!! I would also love it if you shared it with a teacher friend by sending it to them, positing it on your social media accounts, or saving it to Pinterest!
